We have a number of apprenticeship opportunities in various business functions and sectors across the UK.

 

We are particularly keen to hear from applicants in Cambridgeshire, East Sussex, Manchester, Blackburn, Birmingham, Warwickshire, Somerset, London, Essex, Kent and Gloucestershire.

We will aim to place you as close as possible to your desired home location but you may be expected to be flexible during the course of your apprenticeship.

What will I be doing?

You will be undertaking an apprenticeship programme which includes a training and development commitment in one of the following specialisms:

  • Digital
  • Civil Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Planning
  • Project Controls
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Electronic Technician
  • Materials Technician
  • Human Resources
  • Finance
  • Business Administration

About you

You will need to:

  • Have the equivalent of 5 GCSEs, grades A*-C or 9-4, including Maths, Science and English
  • Be organised and able to work well to deadlines
  • Have the ability to do many things and be able to choose what is the most important
  • Be interested in getting it right the first time
  • Be interested in the latest technology
  • Be able to work well within a team and equally on your own
  • Have excellent communication skills

Please note this is a 3 year programme, and during your apprenticeship you will get:

  • On-going support and reviews from L&D advisor and training provider
  • 6 monthly pay increases based on performance and attendance
  • Options to attend career events and promote the business
  • Training in line with your qualification to help personal development
  • Option to progress onto further apprenticeship (funded by Costain) upon completion of 1st apprenticeship (subject to meeting requirements)
