Due to the expansion of Costain’s professional services requirements across our Defence Sector, we are currently recruiting for innovative Programme / Portfolio Managers to join our expanding P3M Team.
In support of our ambitious growth plans, we are looking to bolster our service offering and delivery to our customers, by seeking additional highly skilled professionals to join us in the next phase of our journey.
Working with customers’ management teams, you will review, analyse, develop and improve the effectiveness of existing processes in relation to delivery, transformational change and control management. This position also carries responsibility for the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices to improve customer programme and portfolio delivery performance. The role of Programme / Portfolio Manager is a senior technical specialist role requiring experience of programme / portfolio management through the use of best practice and knowledge of programme management tools and methodology. In this role you will lead, guide and influence stakeholders and teams through use of effective communication, and utilisation of programme management principles appropriate to the achieving the agreed vision and strategy.
These opportunities are high profile and both inward and outward facing; undertaking effective leadership and stakeholder engagement whilst leading in the up-skilling of the Programme Team through proactive knowledge transfer.
